To ensure that training standards for firearms and CQF are raised, ELLE has formed a link to one of the most prestigious Swedish firearms training companies. Their system of training is based on the principal that it is not possible to have effective firearms skills from a short two day course. Such a short span of time is no more than a token gesture. As a result, they have developed a multi layered approach which, when completed, will provide training where a security specialist could be considered an effective member of an armed team.
These are graded a follows:
Basic, Bronze, Silver and Gold
The truth is that it takes years as a professional to become the perfect security operative. However, getting the basics right at the very beginning will put you on the road to success. The courses have been developed to provide a complete system of training spread across four separate weeks (Basic, Bronze, Silver and Gold). This provides a solid foundation for any operative. aiming to work in armed Close Protection.
Industry standard
Our training courses are fast being considered industry standard. The courses develop the essential skills in; side-arm weapons, long weapons (where relevant), medic, tactical and disciplinary training. Moreover, the courses incorporate training in the highly regarded “Systema” method of Close Quarter Fighting, which is extremely relevant to anyone involved in security operations.
Safety first
Every course is run to the most exacting of safety standards. At the end of each week, the individual is assessed and a pass grants access to the next level of training.
If an individual has extensive military experience then they can be considered for the silver award, although this will be based on assessment.
We are very proud of the training courses and their reputation. These training courses are not the place to get a quick qualification. It's the place to become the best security operative you can be.
